IT Application Support Expert (m/f)

Main duties:

    Act as escalation point for the Service Desk and/or internal customers for any type of application related support requests

    Increase and improve ITSM knowledgebase for application support processes and end-user support articles

    Manage the lifecycle of applications, within a defined portfolio, including roadmap, licensing, integration into existing landscape, end-user training, support and upgrade

    Inform and recommend to the business about new functionalities of the applications within the portfolio, thru defined communication channel(s)

    Actively participate, in strong collaboration with the different IT S&S teams and vendors, to define the necessary environments in order to be able to test and implement of new releases

    Participate in continuous improvement and write appropriate guidelines where required

    Participate to IT S&S related projects

    Occasionally provide an administrative support in the scope of the activity

    Take responsibility in ITIL processes

Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

    Be holder of a bachelor degree “BAC& 3” in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar position

    Show a good sense of priorities

    Show structured approach in analysis and documentation

    Be accurate, detail oriented and reliable

    Demonstrate customer orientation and as an role model

    Be familiar with standard office applications

    Show excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written) as well as good skills in German or French

    Strong ability to give training to different population

    Have good presentation skills

Desired or to be acquired criteria:

    Be able to work team-oriented and independently

    Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

    Show a strong ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company

    Show user skills in the tools used in the department

    Demonstrate a good sense of urgency and flexibility

    Show basic knowledge of the ITIL Framework

    Be able to deliver results within defined timeframe;

    Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data.
