We have an excellent opportunity for a cleaning supervisor to work on a brand-new, state-of-the-art medical devices facility in Kilkenny with a leading facilities management company.

Overall Purpose of the Job

You will assist in providing an efficient and effective cleaning service by contractual obligations and company policy and standards. You will lead and manage the day-to-day operations on the ground. You will be responsible for the Cleaning operatives. When dealing with day-to-day operational matters, you will liaise closely and professionally with the client/client representatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures the smooth running of the site, adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification.

Supervise and investigate the quality and standard of cleaning services provided at client sites and assist the cleaning manager.

Assist the Cleaning Manager in supervising the cleaning service staff, including allocating workloads, monitoring progress and performance, determining work priorities, and paying particular attention to productivity and quality control.

Conduct site cleaning audits.

Control and monitor the correct use of appropriate cleaning materials and equipment.

Stock checks on equipment and materials as required.

On-the-job training of the cleaning staff.

Qualifications and Experience

Facilities Management/Cleaning experience.

Leadership experience.

Knowledge of Health & Safety.

Strong English language and relationship-building skills.

Work Pattern:

Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:30

Friday, 08:00-15:30
