Network Engineer. Países Bajos

Reporting to the Global Security department, this role contributes to the company internal digital transformation, evolving the adoption of Zero Trust security architecture.

The ideal candidate will have experience driving and implementing Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) in a hybrid, cloud and on-premises environment.

Your skills will support the evolution of our network security tools in line with industry-recognized frameworks and work in a team that that has full end-to-end ownership of network capabilities that enable strong security prevention, detection and response of cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the deployment and configuration of the SASE architecture, including secure web gateways (SWG) zero-tust network access (ZTNA) and data loss prevention (DLP)

• Be the trusted and main point of contact for network security matters

• Drive implementation of new cybersecurity initiatives to enhance prevention, detection and investigation capabilities.

• Provide key expertise and input to guide the security roadmap for future enhancements of our defenses.

• Evaluate and integrate new security solutions in the existing infrastructure.

• Support operational teams maintaining security infrastructure (intrusion detection, remote access security, email & web security, anti-malware, etc.)

• Support security investigations

• Be deep on the technical side while being able to synthesize the information with right level of abstraction for the target audience.

Qualifications:

Well established subject matter expertise in

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Three years of professional hands-on IT experience, in implementing and managing network security solutions.

• Experience with cloud-native security tools.

• Hands-on experience implementing a SASE architecture for large enterprises.

• Familiarity with different types of cyberattacks and how to prevent and detect them.

• Experience automating deployment of network solutions is a plus.

• Open-minded, enthusiastic, solutions oriented, and a true team player - gaining energy through collaboration with others

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbally.
