Student Assistant - Data Analysis and Testing Procedures

At Nordic-RCC, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student assistant to join our team and support our data analysis and testing procedures. As a student assistant at Nordic-RCC, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis techniques and contribute to important projects within the company.

Nordic RCC – supporting security of supply and the green transition

Nordic RCC provides calculations and recommendations to the four Nordic Electricity Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Energinet, Fingrid, Statnett and Svenska Kraftnät. The main aim of the services is to ensure transparency and help the TSOs with operational planning to ensure continued security of supply with an increase of renewables in the system.

In short: We play a small but important part of enabling the green transition.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
• Conduct testing procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our products/services.
• Collaborate with team members to identify patterns, trends, and insights from data.
• Support other tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Currently enrolled as a student at a bachelor’s degree in engineering or alike. You have attention to detail and strong analytical skills (or open to getting this). Proficiency in data analysis tools/software (e.g., Excel, Python) is welcome.

On a personal level you are open-minded, helpful, team-oriented and take responsibility.

Nordic RCC is an international office, so fluency in spoken and written English is required as well as a motivation for working in an international environment.

Your daily workplace will be in our newly furnished office premises in Copenhagen Towers, Ørestad, and will give you hands-on experience in a professional work environment. We are offering workplace flexibility to ensure a healthy work-life balance and to accommodate class schedules. Working hours are 10-15 hours a week with flexibility around exam times.
