- Secure proper coordination and internal/external communication in the preparation phase of the upcoming layovers

- Ensures smooth execution of all logistics related processes during an aircraft overhaul.

- Develops solutions, take decisions within the material supply process, especially for problematic material requests or critical urgent deliveries.

- Coordinates all materials and information flows between customer’s logistics department and Lufthansa logistics units during the entire layover.

- Acts as a major point of contact of central material management to Customer and Production,

- Presents requested information to Production and to On-Site Customer Representative

- Provides the Production team with information and reports and supports them with all issues handled by the Material Management unit.

Ihr Profil:

- Possessing the competence, acquired either informally or through formal education, to be able to deal with the requirements of the position;

- Relevant professional experience of minimum 3 years.

- Excellent analytical skills and ability to think out of the box

- Excellent communication skills and leadership characteristics

- Team spirit, sense of responsibility and very good interpersonal skills

- Computer literate, preferably SAP knowledge

- Flexibility according to workload during the project phases

- Open for duty travels

- Ability to generate new ideas and identify potential for improvement within his working area

- High degree of ability to work under pressure

- Ideally experience in process design

- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Lufthansa Technik Malta Ltd. (LTM) was established in 2003 as a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG (92%) and Air Malta (8%). The MRO service provider (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul), based at Malta International Airport in Luqa, provides its customers with line and base maintenance services for short haul and long haul aircraft in the Airbus A320/A330/340/350 series. Initially specializing in C Checks and comprehensive aircraft modifications, the company has now significantly expanded its service portfolio following the construction of a 64,000 square meter hangar complex. The spectrum of services offered has grown to encompass extensive maintenance work with wide ranging capabilities including structural and composite fibre repairs, complex testing procedures and comprehensive cabin refits. The 600 strong workforce can work on up to three long haul aircraft or five medium and long haul aircraft at any one time in the new hangar complex, expanded to cater for wide body aircraft. The hangars are used primarily for C Checks and aircraft overhauls. Lufthansa Technik Malta also collaborates with the renowned Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) for the purpose of training and apprenticeship schemes. The strategically favorable location in the Mediterranean region of southern Europe, with its proximity to Africa and to the Arabian Peninsula, gives Lufthansa Technik Malta a special role within the Lufthansa Group.
