Tetra Pak Filtration Solutions with offices in Silkeborg/ Aarhus, Denmark and in Champlin, Minnesota, USA is the group competence centre for membrane filtration.

Tetra Pak Filtration Solutions is searching for an Application Technologist in the field of membrane filtration of milk and whey products, with the focus on optimizing the environment footprint and applications. You will be part of our Centre of Expertise, Denmark. Development projects will be executed together with customers and business partners as well as internally in Tetra Pak. Therefore, the job offers the possibility to travel globally.

The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark.

What you will do

As an Application Technologist your responsibilities will be:

    Planning, execution and documentation of technology and application testing at customers site and in our development center.

    Data collection from full scale systems in operation, with focus on optimizing system performance and membrane selection.

    Development and optimize sustainability of systems and applications.

    Focus is value adding end products and solutions

    Support Technical Sales and Commercial Project Teams, including issue resolution in cooperation with field service engineers and other stakeholders.

We believe you have

    At least 5 years of experience in industrial knowledge of dairy processes

    Preferably you have a Bachelor of Science in dairy technology or similar

    Industrial knowledge of membrane filtration

    Interest in combining test, theory, and industrial solutions

    Interest in independent practical research work in membrane technology in food production

    Interest in travel activity and tasks around the world

    You are fluent in English both written and spoken

We believe that you have a structured way of thinking and approaching problems.

You possess strong communication skills and the ability to communicate technical know-how at many levels. Furthermore, you enjoy hands-on work and to work independently.
