C.A.F. Trading Company Ltd is an Irish-based bean sprout grower, vegetable wholesaler, and distributor. Our bean sprouts supply Tesco, Asian Market Dublin, the Vegetable market in Smithfield Dublin, and various restaurants in Ireland. Currently, we are seeking a full-time Chinese Irish Market Purchaser to join our team and source products in China.

Duties:

Source products and services from suppliers in both the Chinese and Irish Markets, considering factors such as quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

Analyse market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes in both China and Ireland that may impact purchase decisions.

Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers from both regions, considering currency differences, cultural nuances, and local business practices.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies in both the Chinese and Irish markets.

Essential:

Proficient in Chinese and English language;

Relevant Qualification;

Experienced in fruit and vegetable merchandising, adept at communication, management, and coordinating business activities between China and Ireland.

Desirable:

Permanent full time Contract and working hours 39 hours per week;

Annual remuneration is €34,476.00;

Working location at Unit13, Cherry Orchard Industrial Estate, Ballyfermot, Dublin10, D10 VE89.
