Responsibilities

Uphold Sodexo's culinary standards, ensuring exceptional quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, stock control, and efficient service delivery to meet KPIs and client specifications.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating theme days and special events, to enhance dining experiences.

Foster a culture of sustainability by minimizing waste and adhering to Sodexo's Leanpath Waste Management system.

Develop and maintain a professional, skilled team, ensuring comprehensive training and adherence to company policies.

Oversee budget management, ensuring cost-effectiveness in operations without compromising quality.

Act as a representative of Sodexo, maintaining a professional image and resolving any client concerns effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume catering or hospitality environment.

Strong understanding of menu development, food safety regulations, and quality control.

Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of training and motivating a diverse culinary team.

Familiarity with budget management, cost control, and inventory management.

Commitment to sustainability and efficiency in kitchen operations.

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Strong communication skills, capable of maintaining high standards of professionalism in all interactions.
