Complete microsatellite systems in the 20-200 Kg class

Space systems and subsystems design, specification, procurement, manufacturing, integration, and testing. This includes structure, TT&C subsystems, electronics, Radio Frequency, power supply, AOCS, simulators, on- board software, GSEs and all major elements of satellites

Satellite services and applications with a focus on Automatic Identification System (AIS) and Earth Observation (EO)

Job Description

Job Profile:

LuxSpace is looking for a motivated all-round IT System Administrator who is fascinated and interested in new technologies.

After an induction phase, the incumbent is expected to ramp up and to work autonomously on all aspects and challenges arising in the Company's ICT infrastructure.

The selected candidate will work with an on-premises infrastructure based on a VMware virtualized Windows Server environment with Active Directory. The on-premises environment is partially hybrid connected to the Microsoft cloud (Azure AD, Exchange). Microsoft 365 and Azure are the drivers for cloud solutions.

Typical Tasks to be performed:

The IT System Administrator will in particular have the following tasks and responsibilities.

Ensure the proper function of the overall ICT infrastructure

Maintain the infrastructure: Hardware and software, including mobile devices

User management

Anticipate and respond to the needs of internal customers

Helpdesk: Support, and coordinate the support, to users

Design, plan and expand the IT and document changes

Drive changes towards the cloud

Work with SharePoint Online including creating new sites and access management (for externals)

Administrate Microsoft Teams

Work with Intune on MDM

Monitor IT security threads and take necessary measures

Implement and update IT workflows, processes, policies, directives, manuals, and instructions

Purchase IT hard- and software and administrate an IT budget

Other tasks and duties assigned by manager(s)

Temporarily or permanently performing other reasonable and equivalent duties.

Qualifications

Ideal Skills and Background:

The ideal candidate should have the following technical skills:

-Active Directory: including surrounding technologies like DHCP, GPO, DNS

-Windows 10: deployment, administration, and troubleshooting

-Windows Server: installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance

-PowerShell

-Microsoft 365: Azure AD, hybrid with Azure AD Connect, MFA,

-External user management

-SharePoint Online concepts

-Administration of Office 365

-Exchange Online

-Microsoft Teams administration

-Knowledge of Azure cloud environment, IAAS concepts

Being considered an asset:

-Microsoft Project Online administration and usage

-MDM with Intune for iOS and Android devices

-ATP technologies from Microsoft

-Understanding of the TCP/IP model, Wi-Fi, switching and routing technologies like VLAN, Firewall configurations and NAT

-VMware vSphere technologies

-Understanding of client and server hardware

-Deployments of applications over Group Policies or Intune

-Basic Knowledge of Linux administration

-Understanding of web servers

Ideal Candidate Profile:

-3+ years' experience in similar position

-Education: bachelor's degree, vocational training, or equivalent background in Information Technology or Computer Sciences

-Willingness to learn new tools and systems
